The RSPCA says it wants to end factory farming. So why are they certifying it?
For over 200 years, the RSPCA has existed to prevent cruelty to animals. Yet today, through its Assured scheme, the RSPCA is putting its trusted name to factory farming, where billions of animals are confined, mutilated and killed on an industrial scale.
The RSPCA has led the way before, helping end some of the most widely accepted forms of cruelty in British history. We know they can do it again.
We’re urging the RSPCA to: stop certifying factory farming – and help end it.
Specifically:
Campaign to end factory farming by 2040, and lead the UK towards a kinder future for all animals.
End RSPCA Assured certification of factory farms.
End misleading advertising of RSPCA Assured – the animal-loving public deserves to know what’s really happening to farmed animals.
Factory farming is the single biggest cause of animal suffering, and it’s an industry that’s continuing to expand and become more intensified. Now is the time for the RSPCA to act.
Please join us in calling on the RSPCA to help create a world where all animals are free to live life on their own terms.
